Chloe's intro :)
name Chloe Martine (Smith while married)
{stereotype} The Activist
birthdate: January 5, 1973

likes: travel, nature, volunteering, hiking, politics, protesting, books, organic food, veganism, mountains, family, jazz, animals
dislikes: corporations, greed, bad weather, conservatives, television, big cars, yelling, video games, violence, fur

style: Choe’s style has grown just as she has. When she was a teenager her outfits were very bohemian; lots of rompers, DIY projects, and sandals. After entering adulthood her look became more sophisticated, while still maintaining its flowy vibe. Becoming a lawyer required even more sophistication, her look to a drastic change into appropriate business attire.
personality: Chloe is the mothering type. She constantly wants to take care of everyone and everything around her. That being said, most people tend to forget that she has a tough side in addition to her nurturing one. She stands up for her beliefs and does everything in her power to defend those who are less fortunate than her.

bio: Chloe’s parents were incredibly free spirited. They didn’t believe in rules or conventional parenting. When she was younger they encouraged her rebellious side, as long as it was for a good cause. They didn’t get mad when she got suspended for freeing frogs from a biology classroom or the time she got arrested for vandalizing a military recruiter’s office. Not many people at Freedom High understood Chloe, which made her even closer to her own group of girls, family, and boyfriend.

over the years: After high school Chloe attended college in Madison. She tried not to let the distance ruin the relationship she had with Aaron, her boyfriend at the time. Despite difficulties the couple did manage to stay together for a few years. It wasn’t until Chloe chose to enter the Peace Corps that Aaron decided he had had enough. While overseas Chloe met Lucas. The two quickly fell in love and settled down together in Denver, where Chloe decided to go back to school and get her law degree. They had a daughter and were incredibly happy for a few years. Tragically Luca was killed in a car accident. Too depressed to stay in Colorado, Chloe moved to Austin, Texas and found a job as an environmental lawyer.

♔SUNDAY 24, FEBRUARY
Fashion week craze still following you around? Well don't put your VOGUE's down just yet because all the socialites were invited to be models in the charity runway that is going against bullying. All girls are required to go, despite being a black sheep or the perfect socialite, you wouldn't want bad press! Each girl will get a word assigned to them (list following) and the socialite is expected to pick an outfit describing the word. This is fashion so go all out - especially since photographers, paparazzi's, and writers will be flanking the front row. After your debut on the runway kick back and enjoy some drinks at the upstairs bar.

Lily C - Natural

I find fashion week to be exhausting. Exhausting and superfluous. It’s a week of skinny girls walking around in overpriced clothes which I, unfortunately, am forced to cover. The only exciting part is that certain charities occasionally allow me to walk in their benefit shows.

I sat in the back seat of a car, squeezed between Peter and my assistant Lauren. She wouldn’t accompany us to the show, but decided to share a ride on the way to picking up my dry cleaning. Before pulling up to the venue I reminded her to do a search on Greg Calvary. She nodded without taking her eyes off of her blackberry’s keypad. I don’t think she realized why finding this man was so important to me.

Inside of the dressing room was a group of girls prepping for the minute they’d each have in the spotlight. I was already wearing my ‘natural’ outfit and just needed a few seconds to do my makeup. Luckily my designated style left me with plenty of time to make the rounds and ask questions.

The first girl on my list was Sawyer. She had helped organize the Dior show and could probably give some insight as to what made fashion week such an interesting phenomenon for so many people.

“Sawyer, do you have a minute?”

She looked annoyed for a moment before remembering that she should at least pretend to play nice for the press.

“Of course. Ask me anything.”

“Well, as someone who has to work during fashion week, how do you balance fun and stress?”

“It’s all about knowing who your friends are. I like to keep my girls around at all times, they’re awesome de-stressers.”

“And do you think mixing friendship and work is a good idea?”

I asked the question without thinking about the last gossip list. It probably wasn’t the most couth question, but I went with it.

“It is when the friend is mature enough. No further questions.”

I smiled to myself and moved on. It wasn’t the hard hitting journalism that I’d dreamt of doing back in college, but it would do. I saw a piece of female relationships in the business world forming before my very own eyes.

I approached Erica next. She intrigued me, she didn’t quite fit with the rest of the girls. I asked if I could have a quick sound bite and she graciously agreed. I had been dying to speak to a tattoo artist about the lack of feminine energy in their field.

“Not very many girls are doing tattoos, which is too bad. It’s an amazing medium. At the same time you can’t feel sorry for yourself. You have to go in and be like, ‘yeah I’m a girl and yeah I’m a better designer than you.’”

Her French accent made the quote even better. I quickly rushed over to Ava with the hopes of questioning her on her decisions to pave her own path instead of following the one that her parents laid out.

Before I could speak she held up a finger, the international ‘shush’ signal.

“I know better than anyone that you should never speak to the press whilst focusing on a different task. If you’d like to interview me you can set something up with my people, I’d love to talk when I’m more prepared.”

I nodded understandingly. It was a bit rude, but I respected the fact that she wanted to maintain her image for work reasons, and I definitely wanted to take her up on that offer.

I figured that Vanessa would be more willing to speak to me; her wedding excitement was probably searching for an outlet.

I was right, I asked a couple of basic bridal questions and she responded very well. I decided to ask something harder and more relevant to the topic I was covering- relationships in the business world.

“Now, you’re a very successful young women, do you think that getting married will have a negative impact on your career?”

“I don’t see how my work and love lives are related.”

“There seems to be a trend of independent women delaying traditional domestic lives. Do you think that entering such a serious relationship this quickly, and at your age, will reflect negatively upon you.”

The question probably had a bit too much of my own anti-marriage opinion.

“I don’t think about it. Anyone who has a problem with me or my fiancé needs to mind their own business.”

With that she walked away

We got called onto the stage before I could pester anyone else. I suddenly felt really nervous. It had been a year since the first and last time I’d done something like this. Vanessa was behind me in the line and for a moment I considered apologizing for my question, but there was no time.

I was about halfway down the runway and parallel with Vanessa when the worst happened. One second I was coolly making my way towards the end, and the next I was flat on my aass. I got up without much of a fuss and made my way backstage.

Mia was already back there. I tried to brush past her and hide my embarrassment, but I managed to hear her whisper something under her breath,

“and that’s why you don’t mess with Vanessa.”

I kept going until I made it to the exit.

Peter was already standing outside of the stage door with open arms. I ran into them and finally felt like I could let my guard down. He kissed my forehead and assured me that everyone would forget my stumble by tomorrow morning. I didn’t bother saying anything back. I felt like we’d been standing there forever when he finally said something else.

“I’ve got some more news.”

I pulled away from his embrace so that I could look him in the eye.

“Lauren found Greg Calvary.”

As always, let me know if you need me to change anything.

♔MONDAY 18, FEBRUARY
Don't we all just hate Mondays? Except for this Monday of course. Pull out your sample size couture because all the socialites (boy toys included) are heading to Fashion Week! Front row seats and not to mention a lush after party with some of the most desired designers present. Make a good impression - you never know who could be watching.

***

I reluctantly pulled my navy blazer on over my coral dress. Peter was sitting on my couch repeatedly checking the time on his phone. Neither of us was excited about going to the fashion show, but the designer was going to be on the next episode of our show. She was a local girl who was finally going to reveal her buzzed about collection. I threw my blackberry and a few other things into my oversized envelope clutch.

---

When we arrived we were seated in the front row next to Ronnie. I like her well enough. Much like me she never seemed very interested by the socialite life. I noticed Peter peeking at the long legs sticking out from underneath her black dress. The two of us were never anything more than friends and coworkers, but it bothered me. If he was going to be out with me he should pay attention to me. I played it cool but took a seat between the two of them.

Over all the show was alright. The designs were to be expected from someone so young, and they certainly didn’t live up to the hype. I took a few notes on the highlights so that we’d be able to have an interesting conversation on air.

There was a party scheduled for after the show and Peter was convinced that our attendance was necessary.

“It’ll be fun. Besides, you can’t stay home with your dogs /every/ night.”

I rolled my eyes but consented.

---

There was a line at the door of girls trying to get in. Assuming that the list was being checked we took our spot at the end. Yvonne passed us by and informed us that the people who were important enough got to skip the line. We followed her lead up to the doorman, to whom I introduced myself.

“I’m Lily Calvary. With Channel S-“

The guard cut me off with a look of bewilderment.

“I’m sorry, did you say Lily Calvary?”

I assumed that he knew our program.

“Yes, that’s right. I’m actually working on a stor-“

The large man stopped me again.

“I’m Greg Calvary… I’m your father.”

I jaw flung open in disbelief. I hadn’t seen my father since I was three and I had come to embrace the idea that I’d never see him again. Peter and I had time to react Mia ran up behind me.

“You’re going in, right?”

I nodded, too shocked to speak.

She grabbed my hand and pulled me away from the man claiming to be my parent.

Inside of the party I tried focusing on talking to girls who could give me decent quotes to use. I couldn’t get the man’s face out of my mind though and after thirty minutes decided to leave.

I fully expected him to still be by the door, I was wrong. Once again I was just some girl whose father had bailed.

*[Friday, February 15]
It's two-fer night at McClaren's and the gang's all here. Head on down to the city's most popular dive bar for half price drinks all night and full priced entertainment. Word on the street is that the owner's talked a familiar face into an impromptu secret concert.

Molly pulled a knit sweater over her denim button down. Her outfit wasn’t the most sophisticated, but she figured that it would be alright for a night at the bar. She quickly brushed her hair in the guest room mirror, where she had been staying since the proposal. She and James were still a couple though were far from being on good terms.

After preparing for a night with the girls Molly made her way down to the kitchen for a glass wine. She was there for a few minutes before James joined her. He would be Molly’s date and, more importantly, her babysitter.

“What’s in that glass?”

“Grape juice.”

“Are you sure you shouldn’t just skip tonight.”

Molly nodded her head yes. It would be one thing if James was concerned about her actual health, but it was obvious that he just wanted to avoid scandal. The press had been merciless after witnessing the failed attempt at an engagement and they weren’t likely to go any easier if they caught the “recovering” alcoholic leaving a bar.

“I’m already in every magazine this week; I might as well make the cover.”

She immediately regretted making a reference to their current relationship issues. They had been avoiding that conversation and the argument that would inevitably come along with it for as long as possible.

“This whole thing would be a lot easier if you’d just give a definitive answer. Besides, we both know that if you’d wanted to say yes you would’ve.”

“And we both know that if I’d wanted to say no I would’ve.”

“So what did you want to say? Because you didn’t leave me much to go off of.”

Molly bit her lip. She hated making James angry, but he had to understand that she couldn’t be bullied into something this important.

“I wanted to say maybe. Which I did. I also wanted to say that I hated that party, that I would never a proposal that took place in front of the whole world, and that my future husband should know those things, but I figured I’d spare you the embarrassment.”

James went quiet. He did know those things about Molly, he just put what he wanted ahead of them. He didn’t apologize or retaliate, just led the way out to the car.

***

The silence of the car ride was broken inside of the pub. The first person they found was Naleigh, she was sitting at the bar surrounded by guys that were begging to buy her a drink.

"You go ahead," James urged, "I need to find Dawson. See if you can get her to go easy."

Naleigh greeted her friend as if nothing had happened, though she did take a quick glance at Molly's left hand.

Molly turned down all the offers for a beer, feeling more cautious about nearby photographers than she'd wanted James to know. McClaren’s may have been a lowkey place, but it’s always better to be safe than sorry. She noticed Emerson standing a few feet away and figured that that was her best bet at having a scandal-free drink. She left Naleigh to her boys and went scavenging.

"I feel like such a high schooler asking this, but do you have a flask we could share in the bathroom?"

Em smiled but shook her head no.

The two were soon joined by Shelby and Beca. The conversation quickly turned to Shelby and her latest beau. After a few minutes of that the other girls started to chime in with anecdotes about their own love lives. Emerson gushed about Vaughn and Beca kept mum. When it came time for Molly to spill it was obvious that the others were expecting an explanation, but this time even she wasn’t sure why she hadn’t given a real answer.

[Monday, February 11]
Mr. Lockwood is having an awards season kickoff party tonight at his estate. Bring a date or come mingle with the rest of the artists who are apart of Nashville Records. We’ll be hearing who’s nominated for the Country Music Awards. Fingers crossed you’re on the ballot card.

---

Molly stood on her tippy toes to reach the cabinet with the hard stuff. James had promised that it would be a small gathering, but he just had to invite everyone signed to the label and the press. Just as she reached the bottle of Jack Molly heard the door open behind her,

"Jesus Em, you nearly scared me to death."

"Sorry darlin," the twang in her voice indicated that she'd had a glass or two already, "just on the hunt for something better than wine."

Molly gladly handed her bottle over, she and Emerson had a bit of a ritual. They were always the two secretly sharing booze at important events.

They each had a couple of swigs before deciding that they had disappeared for long enough. Emerson reached into her bag and pulled out perfume and gum. Hopefully Chanel and Trident would be enough to cover Jack.

"You look great by the way."

"Really? I feel like such an idiot," Molly looked down at her black skirt and top, "James thought jeans and sneakers were too casual. He thinks this look is too trashy, but I told him he could forget about some floor-length get up."

Emerson assured her that the outfit was fine. The girls made their way back out to the living room but weren't together for long before getting separated. James laced his right arm around Molly's waist and pulled her over to a couple of older men.

"The guys were just complementing our place and I figured they should meet the woman responsible for it."

“Well then you should give them our decorator’s number.”

There was uncomfortable laughter from the men, but Molly remained stone faced. James made a point of introducing the two as Rolling Stone editors, a magazine that was hoping to do a cover story on the artists of Nashville Records. It was a blatant attempt at silencing Molly’s spitfire tongue, one that James should’ve known wouldn’t work. Molly wasn’t the type to change her personality just to further her career, even if it did mean catching an earful from her label exec turned boyfriend.

Photographers began approaching the group but Molly managed to duck out of view before James could stop her. She found herself next to a slight girl with shoulder-length brown hair.

“Look, I don’t know who you are but I’ll pay you twenty bucks to take your top off.”

The girl didn’t say anything; she just looked terrified, clearly not used to Molly’s distinct sense of humor.

“It’s not like I’m a lesbian or anything, I just need something to distract the paps long enough for me to grab a drink.”

“Excuse me?”

“Plus, if you’re trying to make it big, public displays of debauchery are the best way to make people care about you. I should know.”

“Wait… aren’t you Molly Rollins?”

“The snaggle tooth mama, at your service,” molly replied referencing one of her band’s songs.

Tanner and Jackson, members of said band, snuck up behind the girls,

“Did we hear someone mention a song performed by two beautiful country men.”

“No idiots, I was quoting our song. This nameless girl seems to know who we are.”

“Savannah Montgomery. My name is Savannah Montgomery, by the way.”

“Montgomery huh,” Tanner raised an eyebrow, “looks like she’s not so nameless after all.”

Before the group could become wore acquainted with the young songstress James started tapping his wine glass with a silver spoon.

“Could y’all please quiet down for a second? We’re ready to hear the nominations.”

---

The awards were announced and everyone besides Molly was pretending to be shocked and thrilled. The same people were up for the same awards as always and it was obvious who the winners would be. Molly pulled out the cigarette she had tucked in her bra and tried to get out of the crowded room.

“Molly Rollins, don’t you dare leave. I’ve got another announcement for you.”

“Well you better make it quick, my lungs are just waitin’ to be destroyed.”

“Baby you’re already a winner tonight,” James got down on one knee, “would you mind making me one?”

Molly was shocked. This was not a conversation that she was ready to have in front of so many people. She wasn’t even sure if she wanted to get married, it’s not like she knew anyone that was happy with their marriage. But then again, things had been going fine in her relationship lately. She and James argued almost every day, but deep down they did love each other.

For once James had managed to silence his girlfriend. All that she wanted to do was leave the party. Instead of responding to the pending proposal she turned and started walking towards the front door. Over her shoulder she could hear Jace Gentry shout words of encouragement to James,

“Well, at least she didn’t say no.”

Molly chuckled to herself despite the situation. She might not have said no, but that’s what everyone was assuming she meant. For the time being she knew of a hotel with an excellent minibar that she could check into and clear her mind.

Call Larry Gagosian, you belong in museums
This was a really great story so I copied it and closed word without saving. Then I got distracted by the internet and copied something else. So I had to rewrite the whole thing AND I AM RAGING.

SATURDAY, JUNE 9TH
Gatsby's weekly party is coming back once again. The themed party took off so well last week, that Gatsby has decided to step it up a notch. This one, however, is a bit more...risque. Conservative and classy aren't on the special tonight, because this night is all about skin--and lots of it. But keep in mind, this is a Gatsby party after all, so keep it tasteful but sexy.
“How do I look?”

I did a twirl for Marc.

“It’s a little dominatrix-esque. Are you sure it’s not too sluutty?”

I looked down at my skin-tight red dress.

“Well, Gatsby did say that the theme was risqué.”

I looked over at the couch where Zane was sitting with Jess and caught him staring. The two were having some boring movie night while Marcus and I went out. I still wasn’t sure if they actually liked each other or if Zane was using her as a ploy to mess with my head. It was completely illogical to go from someone like be to a blasé girl like Jessica Crist.

---

Gatsby’s party was as extravagant as always; he dimmed the lights, put out candle, and covered the floor with rose petals. The socialites had thighs and cleavage on display. Even the waitresses were wearing lingerie and body paint. There was definitely a sexy vibe and I almost felt as if my previous trespasses would be encouraged on a night like that.

There was a tasteless group of people out on the dance floor grinding like a bunch of horny teenagers.

Still embarrassed by my indiscretions at the previous event I had decided to avoid the booze. My friends, and even husband, didn’t utilize the same restraint. Marc, the embarrassing drunk that he is, was helll bent on dancing with me. By my tenth refusal he gave up on his campaign. He went off and found some brunette who was more willing to rub his asss all over him.

Instead of watching the vulgar display I went out to the gardens. I was all alone in the warm summer air. Out of boredom I took out my phone. I was surprised by a text that was still unread. It was from Zane

‘You don’t look sluty, you look beautiful.’

The message made me smile. As badly as I wanted to reply I knew that I couldn’t. It was too dangerous and I needed to focus on keeping my head on straight and repairing my marriage. I replaced my phone and went off to find my husband. He was still inside with the brunette, drunkenly bragging about how much he’s worth.

It took some convincing but I eventually got him out to the car. I put him into the passenger seat and drove us home. The night was still and I was hoping that Zane would still be there.

---

When we got to the house my wish was granted, but not in the way I’d imagined. Jess and Zane were completely naked on the couch. The shock quickly sobered Marcus up,

“Lucy, could you walk this young man out while I have a word with my daughter?”

I nodded and made my way towards the exit silently. Zane picked his clothes up and followed. As soon as we were outside with the doors closed the yelling began. I crossed my arms and led my former lover out to his car. He stood there in just his underwear and tried to explain himself,

“I never cared about Jess. I just wanted to be around you. She threw herself at me tonight and I just couldn’t say no.”

“Yes you could have.”

“You can’t really be mad at me. You haven’t even been replying to my messages.”

“You’re right, this is for the best. We won’t see each other anymore and there won’t be any temptation.”

“Don’t say that. Don’t say things you don’t mean.”

“I do mean it. Ever since you entered my life I’ve been risking the most important things to me. I just ca-“

Before I finished my sentence he was kissing me.

Suddenly I was right back where I started.

I'm Guilty And I'm Gonna Blame The Booze
I've been wanting a country roleplay for so long *fingers crossed that I get in*

Someone go audition for Rose

ps am I the only one who thinks this looks like I'm auditioning for a vampire roleplay?

---

Molly Rollins, 21

Hometown: Manila, Utah

Industry Status: part of group with Rose, Tanner and Jackson (choose group name later), several country awards, tours with Midnight Run

Sounds like: Those Darlins- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auc1cNMPQ0U

Bio: Molly grew up in a small town in Utah. Her parents were conservative Mormons who only encouraged her to sing at church functions. When Molly was nineteen she was discovered while on tour with her choir, she immediately dropped out of BYU and moved to Tennessee to pursue her career.
